With over 10 years of customer service experience, Sheba joins the PSP team as Eastlake’s Treatment Coordinator. Coming from the world of coffee, she made a career change to pursue her passion for helping others feel confident again. In her free time, Sheba enjoys spending time with her daughter, outdoor activities, and traveling.
Jenna Cha, DDS MS
She finished her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biological Sciences, cum laude, at the University of the Pacific in 3 years and then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Honors at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni, School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. She fell in love with periodontal surgery as she was shadowing her mother's periodontist while in dental school. Being the only applicant for periodontics residency in her class, she managed to do multiple periodontal surgeries in a dental school clinic before entering her residency.
Dr. Cha then completed an advanced specialty training program in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon. She was a recipient of the Best Resident Research Award at OHSU.
Andrew Nordlie, DDS
Dr. Andrew Nordlie is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized periodontal care. A Pacific Northwest native and one of eight siblings, Dr. Nordlie comes from a family of dentists—including his father and two brothers.
His interest in periodontics began in 2016 after shadowing Dr. Tom Kang and Dr. Kevin Suzuki. Now, he’s proud to work alongside them. He earned his undergraduate degree from Pacific Lutheran University and his DDS and MSD in periodontics from the University of Washington.
Dr. Nordlie offers comprehensive periodontal services, including gum disease treatment, dental implants, and cosmetic procedures. He enjoys building relationships with patients and creating personalized treatment plans that lead to lasting, confident smiles.
Outside of work, Dr. Nordlie loves hiking, skiing, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
Thomas Kang, DDS
Dr. Kang attended the University of Washington for his Bachelor of Science Degree. Upon graduation he was accepted to the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following graduation he was one of two applicants accepted into the Graduate Periodontal and Implant Specialty program at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine.
As the founder of Puget Sound Periodontics he has overseen the growth of the practice from a small start up into the premier destination for periodontics and implant dentistry on the west coast.
Dr. Kang provides education in several local dental study clubs and participates in meetings throughout the nation, lecturing on advanced implant technologies including Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing of Medical Devices.
Kevin Suzuki, DMD MS
Dr. Suzuki graduated with his DMD from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He completed a 3-year surgical residency in Periodontics and Oral Implantology at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, where he also earned his Masters of Science degree. Dr. Suzuki trained under the tutelage of world renowned mentors Professor Carl E. Misch, Director of Oral Implantology and Professor Jon B. Suzuki, Chairman and Graduate Program Director. He has published research in bone grafting for implant site development conducted at the Primate Research Institute (CEMIC), Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Allen Liu, DMD
Dr. Liu graduated with his DMD from Temple University and the prestigious Kornberg School of Dentistry, Philadelphia, PA. Immediately following graduation, he went on to pursue specialty training in Periodontics and Oral Implant Dentistry at Temple as well. While training under the tutelage of world renowned Professor Carl Misch, Director of Oral Implantology and Professor Jon Suzuki, Program Director, he honed and developed several treatment guidelines and modalities. Dr. Liu received his specialty certificate in Periodontology and Dental Implantology and also completed a Masters degree in Oral Biology. His thesis focused on the anatomical variations in patient’s sinus cavities and how understanding these variations would lead to better clinical treatment and outcomes.
Jeff
Jeff is our local support representative at Nobel Biocare for Puget Sound Periodontics. His primary objective is to ensure Dr. Kang and the entire Puget Sound Periodontics surgical and referral teams get industry leading dental implant products and service. This involves demonstrating new products like HIPPA compliant workflows, discussing advances in dental implant treatments, and providing team focused training around case acceptance at referral offices.

Chad, RDH, CDA
Chad Melton is the lead hygienist at Puget Sound Periodontics returning in 2015 after completing his degree in dental hygiene. Prior to becoming a Dental Hygienist Chad was a clinical assistant for Dr. Kang and Dr. Suzuki for a period of four years. In his free time, he coaches competitive gymnastics and enjoys traveling, barbequing/cooking and spending time with his wife and three children. Chad’s goal is to “Make every patient feel welcome, informed and cared for during their time at Puget Sound Periodontics.
