Same Day Tooth Replacement With Dental Implants

Patients who suddenly suffer a broken front tooth may find themselves in the situation of needing a dental implant. There are many different ways that this clinical situation can be treated. Often times the best long term cosmetic outcome can be achieved when the tooth can be replaced using a dental implant at the same time the tooth is removed. This procedure called "Tooth in a Day" or the Immediate placed and temporized dental implant is frequently completed in this office.

Following numbing of this area the tooth remnant is removed and the area is carefully prepared for dental implant placement. After the dental implant has been placed the Doctor will assess how stable the dental implant is, if the assessment is that the implant is stable enough he may proceed to make a new temporary tooth which is attached to the implant and will allow you to go home with a "Tooth in a Day." 

After an appropriate period of healing the implant temporary crown will be removed and replaced with a permanent restoration by your restorative dentist. This is a highly technique sensitive procedure and has been completed hundreds of times successfully by our dental implant team.
